We are seeking Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic circuits for embedded and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and modify electronic schematics using EDA tools (Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or equivalent).
- Assist in PCB design and layout reviews, ensuring signal integrity and manufacturability.
- Select electronic components based on functional, cost, and availability requirements.
- Prepare BOMs, schematics, and design documentation.
- Support prototype bring-up, debugging, and basic hardware testing.
- Use laboratory equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply) for validation and troubleshooting.
- Assist in EMI/EMC pre-compliance checks and design improvements.
- Coordinate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams for system integration.
- Support production handover, including test procedures and basic fixtures.
- Maintain design version control and documentation updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in schematic design and PCB layout tools (Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, etc.).
- knowledge of microcontrollers, analog/digital circuits, power electronics, and signal processing.
- Experience with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, etc.).
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance standards.
- Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testability).
- Problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Approximately 1-2 years of experience in hardware or electronics design.
