As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be a crucial member of our design team, responsible for developing innovative and efficient mechanical solutions. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop mechanical designs for new products.
- Utilize expertise in injection molding, sheet metal design, and rapid prototyping to create efficient and manufacturable designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design concepts to ensure performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Generate detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs for manufacturing.
- Completes activities with robust performance through a plan or program.
- Applies technical competencies in somewhat difficult situations.
- Identifies technical problems and provides innovative and creative solutions.
- Generates alternatives and takes reasonable risks while solving technical problems.
- Coach and develop team members.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the areas of injection molding, sheet metal, and rapid prototyping.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
