We’re looking for a detail-oriented SQA Engineer to join our Mobile Application Team. This role goes beyond traditional mobile testing. You will be responsible for ensuring quality across multiple platforms mobile apps, web interfaces, hardware devices and firmware integrations. You’ll work closely with developers, embedded engineers, and product teams to design and execute comprehensive test plans that ensure seamless user experiences and robust device performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobile App Testing (Primary Focus): Test Flutter-based mobile applications on Android and iOS. Perform functional, UI/UX, and regression testing. Validate app behavior with various hardware devices (via BLE, Wi-Fi, etc.).
- Hardware & Firmware Testing: Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to test device behaviors and integrations. Perform real-world and lab testing of prototypes and final devices. Test communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) and validate data synchronization.
- Web Platform Testing: Test admin panels, dashboards, and other web interfaces linked to the hardware or apps. Ensure backend and frontend consistency with APIs, databases, and device logs.
- Test Automation (Optional but Preferred): Set up automated testing pipelines for mobile/web apps using tools like Flutter Driver, Appium, Selenium, or others. Suggest and implement tools or frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Cross-Platform Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and detailed bug reports. Participate in sprint planning and reviews, contributing QA insights and concerns. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure smooth end-to-end experiences for users.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in SQA, with exposure to mobile app testing (Flutter experience is a big plus).
- Familiarity with IoT systems, embedded devices, or firmware testing.
- Solid understanding of manual testing principles; automation experience is a bonus.
- Ability to read and interpret logs from devices, apps, and backends.
- Experience with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and data flow between app, backend, and hardware.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
