We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical products, systems and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing processes and engineering analysis, with experience in managing projects from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop mechanical designs for new products.
- Utilize expertise in injection moulding, sheet metal design, and rapid prototyping to create efficient and manufacturable designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyse design concepts to ensure performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Generate detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs for manufacturing.
- Completes activities with robust performance through a plan or program.
- Applies technical competencies in somewhat difficult situations.
- Identifies technical problems and provides innovative and creative solutions.
- Generates alternatives and takes reasonable risks while solving technical problems.
- Coach and develop team-members.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design especially design for injection moulding, sheet metal, consumer product design and team management skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools.
- CSWE is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Exceptional Leadership Skills.

- Positive attitude toward work and a desire to learn and develop.
