We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior AI & Process Automation Engineer to join our team on-site at our Islamabad office. In this role, you will work side-by-side with executive leadership and department heads to streamline and automate core business operations across Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, HR and Admin. You will bridge software systems including ClickUp, QuickBooks Online, Upwork, CRM platforms, LinkedIn, and SMS gateways by writing clean scripts, connecting REST APIs, configuring webhooks, and building interactive AI dashboards (using Streamlit or Claude MCP). This on-site position offers hands-on mentorship, immediate feedback and rapid technical growth for a fresh computer science or software engineering graduate eager to master modern business automation, LLM tools and multi-platform API integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Operations & Financial Automation
- ClickUp & QuickBooks Integration: Build and maintain API integration pipelines connecting ClickUp, QuickBooks Online, and Upwork.
- Cost & Hour Metrics: Implement code logic for task weighting factors, department hour allocations, and project profitability tracking.
- Automated Escalations: Develop automated alert systems (via Email, Slack, or SMS) for budget thresholds, schedule overruns, and deadline delays.
- Billing Workflows: Automate monthly invoice generation and manager approval workflows.
- Sales & Marketing Automation (CRM, LinkedIn & SMS)
- CRM Pipeline Sync: Connect CRM systems (HubSpot/Salesforce/Pipedrive) to ClickUp to automatically trigger new project creation when deals are won.
- LinkedIn Lead Tracking: Build workflows to track lead activity, automate connection/follow-up reminders, and log outreach data directly into the CRM.
- SMS Gateway Alerts: Integrate SMS APIs (Twilio/MessageBird) to send instant SMS notifications for critical approvals, client updates, and high-priority lead updates.
- Marketing Operations: Set up automated lead-capture forms, email campaign triggers, and unified marketing reporting dashboards.
HR & Admin Workflow Automation
- HR Processes: Automate employee onboarding/offboarding task checklists, leave request tracking, and attendance sync in ClickUp/HRIS.
- Internal AI Assistant: Build internal policy query bots using AI APIs to handle routine employee admin questions.
On-site Executive Dashboards & Collaboration
- Role-Based Dashboards: Work directly with team leads in the Islamabad office to build interactive dashboards (using Streamlit, React, or Claude Interactive Artifacts) for the CEO, PMs, Team Leads, and Clients
- AI Performance Insights: Leverage AI models (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini APIs) to generate weekly automated summaries covering employee efficiency, capacity utilization, and PM commissions.
- In-Office Technical Support: Provide quick on-site troubleshooting and technical support for internal tools used by the team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Work Setup: Ability to work full-time on-site at our Islamabad office.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Fresh Graduates strongly encouraged to apply).
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of hands-on experience in software development, scripting, or web automation.
- Programming Skills: Solid foundational knowledge of Python (Pandas, Requests, FastAPI/Flask) or JavaScript/Node.js.
- API & Integration Skills: Strong familiarity with REST APIs, JSON data parsing, Webhooks, and HTTP client requests.
- Database & Caching: Basic understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite) and local caching concepts (Redis or local JSON stores) to handle rate limits.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the drive to turn messy business processes into clean, reliable code.
Good to have Skills
- Communication & Messaging APIs: Hands-on experience with SMS APIs (Twilio) or CRM APIs (HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Workflow Tools: Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms like n8n, Make.com, or Zapier.
- Frontend / Web UI: Basic experience with Streamlit, Plotly, or web frontend frameworks.
- AI Tools: Exposure to LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) or prompt engineering paradigms.
